COACHING BACKGROUND CHECK
MANDATORY
Anyone looking to coach an HYA sport is required to complete a background check and abuse prevention screening.
- The screening is simple, free and completely private.
- No HYA personnel will have access to the screening information as it is conducted by a paid third party provider - Sports Engine subsidiary.
- Once completed, the background check will last for 2 years and cover all HYA sports. Upon login you will be notified if you are still covered or have to complete the check again.
- Only failed screenings will be privately notified.

CONCUSSION TRAINING
MANDATORY
Upon completion of training you will receive a certificate.

VOLUNTARY CPR CLASS OFFERING
Coaches and parents can learn CPR at the Hampton Fire Department Headquarters (140 Winnacunnet Rd.) FREE of charge. For more information please contact HYA Safety Director Keenan DeGiovanni at kdegi86@gmail.com.
