HYA Riptide Lacrosse is committed to the view that to play the game is great, to win the game is greater, to love the game is the greatest. We are about promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, positive coaching and safety, and having fun, as well as advancing the sport of lacrosse. We want each and every participant to feel like they have made a contribution to themselves, as well as, to their respective team both on and off the field. 

The season is beginning, first with indoor practices, then outdoor practices, and finally with games starting in early April!

Athletes looking to learn skills through competitive play can choose to join our HYA Riptide Travel Lacrosse teams:

1st and 2nd graders (U8) and 3rd and 4th graders (U10) will experience once weekly practices and field play in games on weekdays or weekends as part of the Seacoast Area Youth Lacrosse League (SAYLL). The travel at this age is limited to towns close by to Hampton to help kids and parents get started with travel sports.  

Players 5th grade and up progress to U12 and U14 travel play in the NH Youth Lacrosse Association (NHYLA) League. NHYLA is a competitive lacrosse league that requires more regional travel and tournament commitments. Teams practice twice weekly with weekly games on Saturday or Sundays. 

Travel teams begin preseason indoor practices on Sundays tentatively beginning in. Games begin in April and the season ends with the NHYLA lacrosse festival (playoffs) the second weekend in June. There are no games on Memorial Day weekend.
