HYA Riptide Lacrosse is dedicated to providing programs and services that inspire youth participation from grades K through 8.
HYA Riptide Lacrosse is an all-volunteer organization. The program is run by a Board of Directors and coaching staff along with the assistance of player parents. We are dedicated to the instruction of the game of lacrosse, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play. HYA Lacrosse is open to all students who reside within the boundaries of the SAU 21/90 school district.
HYA Riptide Lacrosse is committed to the view that to play the game is great, to win the game is greater, to love the game is the greatest. We are about promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, positive coaching and safety, and having fun, as well as advancing the sport of lacrosse. We want each and every participant to feel like they have made a contribution to themselves, as well as, to their respective team both on and off the field.
Lacrosse in the Hampton area begins as young as kindergarten in our K2 PLUS introductory lacrosse clinics and progresses up to the U14 level for both boys and girls.
We start young lacrosse players off in a fun and age-appropriate lacrosse clinic called Riptide K2 PLUS, part of HYA since 2010. Players in the K2 PLUS program play once a week in a practice-based, high energy program designed to fit the needs of our developing players.
Athletes looking to learn skills through competitive play can choose to join to our HYA Riptide Travel Lacrosse teams:
1st and 2nd graders (U8) will experience once weekly practices and field play in games on weekdays or Saturdays.
Players 3rd grade and up progress to U10 through U14 travel play in the NH Youth Lacrosse Association (NHYLA) League. NHYLA is a competitive lacrosse league that requires more regional travel and tournament commitments. Teams practice twice weekly with weekly games on Sundays.
We greatly appreciate your investment in our players' experience!
